We are doctors and professional film-makers!

Thanks to many years of experience as doctors in the day-to-day work of hospitals, the procedures in practices and clinics are entirely familiar to us. We have acquired both medical expertise and craftsmanship as film-makers.

We offer full service film production with our team and our technology. This includes medical editorial work, a wide range of on-set film equipment (e.g. a remote-control boom camera for use in the operating theatre), several editing suites, a 2D/3D graphics team, an audio studio and an affiliated film studio.

Camera Medica was founded in 2004 by Dr. Martin Berg. Before that, he worked as an ophthalmic specialist in a Berlin hospital.

Martin Berg acquired his film training during various internships and jobs with cinema, film, and TV production companies, including "Gesundheitsmagazin Praxis" and "Quivive", which he completed or held during his medical studies.

Lou Gastardi studied visual and audio art at the Bauhaus-University Weimar.

The key areas of her work are film editing, 2D-animation and camera. She is Brasilian and speaks Portugues, Spanish, German and English and also a little bit of Russian.

Paul Fleischmann studied media technology in Ilemenau and graduated as an engineer in 2004. Besides his studies he was interested in film, graphics, animation and film editing.

Before he joined Camera Medica he worked for more than 8 years as a freelance motion designer and 3D digital artist.

With her drawings and illustrations Karen Strempels adds her charm and character to the animated explainer videos of Camera Medica.

Born in the Ruhrgebiet she studied communication design in Essen and Helsinki. Although she is a freelancer Karen Strempel has become a firm part of the team.

In 2006 Till Girke started at Camera Medica as a trainee. After 2007 he studied Cinematography at the HFF in Potsdam. During his studies he won the German Junior Camera Award.

Besides his work for TV/film and advertising productions he with his camerawork is still is a valuable team member at Camera Medica on a freelance basis.

Dennis Galander studied computer science at the Technische Fachhochschule Berlin. After that he turns to front end development. For that he mainly he uses HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.

For a couple of years he offers his service to Camera Medica on a freelance basis. With that he enhances the portfolio of the company, especially regarding interactive video, scrollstories and Webdevelopment.
